With pressures from warming sea waters complicated by shifting ecosystems, many of the reef building corals are being hit hard in their population numbers and distributions. The Coral Restoration Foundation is working throughout a handful of locations in the Caribbean to restore species of Acropora, Millepora, and Montastrea by propagating them in man-managed offshore nurseries and outplanting onto reefs that they once naturally occurred on. Our organization empowers staff, interns, volunteers and citizen scientists to participate in our mission to restore the reefs to their natural condition.Title:
