Listed below are some of the items being raffled off at the Marine Aquarium Expo "Opportunity Drawing".
This list represents only a small portion of what is really available!

- Show operators not responsible for holding any items at the end of each day.
The drawing starts at 7:00PM saturday and 5:00PM on Sunday, but tickets may be purchased throughout the day @ only $2.00 each.
Tickets are sold at a "progressive rate" as follows:
$2.00 = 1 ticket ($0 extra/$2.00 per ticket)
$25.00 = 15 tickets ($5 extra/$1.66 per ticket)
$50.00 = 35 tickets ($20 extra/$1.43 per ticket)
$75.00 = 55 tickets ($35 extra/$1.36 per ticket)
$100.00 = 75 tickets ($50 extra/$1.33 per ticket)

PFO Lighting - (two) PFO 14" Solaris LED Lighthood

The Solaris is the first LED System designed to replace Metal Halide and Fluorescent lighting for the Aquarium Reef Tanks. We started shipping the original G series in September of 2006. Since then we have introduced the H4 series and now the I4 series.
The white LED used in the I4 series is producing more than 80 lumens/watt.
The new I4 series produces PAR light output levels equal to a 400W MH 15k. It uses 40% less energy than the 400W MH 15k fixtures it replaces. The life of the LEDs is approximately 50,000 hours, so it almost eliminates metal halide and fluorescent bulb replacements.
All heat is radiated up and away from the tank; therefore, it does not heat the water like Metal Halides or Fluorescents. This eliminates the need for Chillers.
The room air conditioner needs to work ½ as much since the light fixture produces only ½ the heat of Metal Halides which saves even more energy over traditional lighting methods.
PFO has donted one and Sunset Promotional Services purchased another of these rather innovative and valuable lights to be raffled-off on Sunday.

Ecotech Marine - (two) Vortech MP40w Pumps

The VorTech is beautiful and designed with simplicity in mind. A magnetic couple transmits motion through your aquarium glass and clamps the assembly against your tank. This means you won’t have to drill your aquarium, and that you can easily reposition the pump somewhere else in the aquarium without having to move around complicated and awkward brackets.
The VorTech is the smallest propeller pump on the market when you consider how little space it occupies inside the aquarium. The ReefKeeper 2 now comes with an even sleeker design employing a blue backlit LCD, blue status LEDs and a black overlay background all standard. Users can set the brightness to 25%, 50%, 75% & 100% as desired. The front of the remote display has a custom faceplate so that a little water on it doesn't cause any problems. The ReefKeeper's pH feature allows the user to monitor pH to 0.01 resolution. A channel can be linked to the pH measurement to control devices that raise and lower pH.
